1. can someone tell me what the difference between "Collaboration Platform" and groupware is ?

2. In this picture you are talking about archiving and backup & restore what is the difference here ?

Backup is making a copy of the mailstore, in case your server dies or you need to recover a mail for a user. It makes a copy of the live mailstore at a moment in time. Archiving makes a copy of every mail handled by the system. This is typically stored and used for legal compliance.

There is a very consistent understanding of these 3 terms in the IT industry, and the first idea associated with them:
backup: insurance
archive: put away
restore: get it back
