Hello everyone,

Is there a way to configure Scalix 10 to use bottom-posting when replying to messages and use the '>' character to indicate the original message?

I can't seem to find it on the configuration.

Thanks.

Hi,

the current version of SWA does not offer any configuration with regards to the quoting mechanism.

Changes are planned for a future release.

Cheers,
Florian.

That would definitely be a feature to look out for as far as I'm concerned.

I'm not particularly a big fan of the way Outlook sends replies (bottom posted) as well as HTML mail.

Understood....

However, with 12 email users in the room, you'll probably find about 15 opinions on the best quoting style for replies! ;-)

Indeed. :)

Most of the technical mailing lists I'm on though use bottom-posting as a convention.

Has this been planned into Scalix 11? We too have quite a few technical mailing lists, may not be a huge client option they are looking for, but us as the partner would really appreciate bottom posting options.
