Scalix Connect for BES

Postby jangi » Wed Jun 24, 2009 5:40 pm

... rocks!

Seriously, I downloaded the beta, downloaded the BES software, installed both (and outlook sp2), changed my data plan with Verizon, and activated my curve, in about an hour.

Push E-Mail, Calendar, Contacts, Tasks.... very nice.

Thank you.

P.S. Maybe I'll be able to talk my company into (finally) buying a commercial license of Scalix. No chance ActiveSync/BES support will ever make it to the Community Edition? Obviously it would still cost x dollars, and would be limited to the 10 premium users....
I know, I know... asked and answered.

Hi,

I am gutted to have missed this - this was the main reason the management went with an Exchange solution after over 2 years of Scalix. Just switched off the old server, then received the beta notification a few hours afterwards.

Andrew.
