I am not jumping to 11.2, last time we jumped to 11.0.1 we had a lot of grief for about 3 month until 11.0.4 came out.
What did you jump from? I agree that we were not as happy with the quality of the initial 11.x releases as we wanted to be and 11.0.1 was certainly still one of them. However, I promise that 11.1 and 11.2 are definitely more stable and resolve a couple of issues that exist in 11.0.4, especially w/rgds to Outlook and the connector.
Takes about 40secs to load by inbox of <30 msgs. Download 1011 headers in the first 120seconds for a folder of 10K messages. The hardware is sufficient. With the initial install we learned that this app is disk hungry (with proper indexing it shouldn't be), and it's not on a RAID1 doing about 50-60megs per second. The box is a 4CPU Dell 2650. All of the people that (attempt to) use it are either on DSL or Cable Modem or FIOS.
I agree that the hardware is sufficient and the times you mention seem quite long to me, so we should do a health and configuration check on that system.
On the support side, I'm sorry to say that I have responded to your private message - and I did that by private message at Tue Oct 23, 2007 5:56 am (not sure what timezone that stamp is from, probably mine, central europe, GMT+2 right now), which was only a few minutes after your personal message. In this message I did ask you for exact information where you sent that fax to, to track it down - I haven't received any response on that yet. Also, in the PM I told you that I have added 5 support incidents to your account, so that you can immediately start opening support requests, both by phone or email to support. Therefore, I can hardly see
