We have discovered a potential problem when auto-upgrading Roaming Profile Users to Scalix Connect 9.2.1. The user’s first PC auto-upgrades without a problem. However, when the user logs onto his/her second PC, it does not get auto-upgraded. The reason for this is that the Installer has already flagged the user’s profile as being upgraded and thus does not attempt to upgrade it a second time.
The simplest solution is to upgrade the user’s second PC manually. However, at larger sites this may not be practical so in that case, using System Policies to push out the install may be a better solution.
This problem only impacts Roaming Profile user’s auto-upgrading to Scalix Connect 9.2.1 on more than one PC. If the user’s second PC is a shared machine and is auto-upgraded by another user, the problem is not manifested. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
