Unable to install scalix

I have downloaded the latest version of scalix community twice now and attempted install. Both instances get to the component check list and fail at same spot with the following message.

Installing following components:

Scalix Web Access
(version 9.4.052)
Scalix Administration Console
(version 9.4.2.5)

Not found and required:

Scalix Server (Community Edition)
(version 9.4)

One or more components could not be found so installation cannot proceed. Please check your installation directory and/or media and restart installer.

Not exactly sure what the problem is but the tar file I am downloading is intact and not reporting errors. Thanks for any help.

Hi. What version of Linux are you trying to install Scalix on?

Thanks,
Rachel

Hi I have had the same issue when the installation path is V E R Y long.. Maybe if you put the install files nearer the / directory ie /var/install or such you may have more success.

This is assumming you are running a supported operating system.

Many thanks
