Is there any option or work around where I can install Scakix IMAP and LDAP server without disturbing the current IMAP and LDAP server installation?

I believe your limited to changing the ports your current services are running on. I run FDS on my centos 5.1 server with scalix. FDS is using port 390 (instead of 389) and 636. Scalix user authenticate against FDS for email or samba.

Your other option (given your hardware can handle & 2gig ram) would be to install and run an additional VM server in bridged IP mode (not nat). Just pick your preferred Scalix compatible linux. Xen or VMServer should do the trick.
