I ran:
austin:/home/users/root/danny # sxcfgplugin.py --deploy -l addpf.sh -u sxadmin -i austin
which resulted in:
WARN: User with authid=sxadmin does not exist. Not ACL entry for this user created.
INFO: Deploying plugin addpf.sh to /var/opt/scalix/an/s/
But sxadmin does exist, that's how i log into the scalix admin console, so it really honestly does exist - i swear it! When I logged into the console there was no sign of the plugin (I assume it appears under 'plugins').
When you pass sxcfgplugin.py a user parameter, the purpose is to give that particular user access to the plugin, yes (guessing)? So perhaps the plugin installed okay but because it didn't recognise the user (or it's form) it hasn't given me permission to use it? I'm guessing and a bit lost! Could anyone help suggest debugging methods? Is there a command I could run to list the plugins installed and, even better, which users are authorised to access them?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me,
Danny
