Hello Guys!

We have decided we would buy the SBS edition with 125 licens, but we would like to install it to a Debian system.

Test system (CE) was installed also on a debian.

Unfortunatedly not. The Debian release is unsupported, and as such the SBE and EE versions does support it.

In my EE download directory I have the following supported distributions:

scalix-server-11.1.0.10849-1.fc5.i386.rpm
scalix-server-11.1.0.10849-1.rhel4.i386.rpm
scalix-server-11.1.0.10849-1.rhel5.i386.rpm
scalix-server-11.1.0.10849-1.sles10.i586.rpm
scalix-server-11.1.0.10849-1.sles9.i586.rpm
scalix-server-11.1.0.10849-1.suse101.i586.rpm

Officially Scalix will tell you no.

Of course, at home I run a Scalix CE server on CentOS 4 and it works perfectly. As does my CentOS 5 VMWare installation I use for testing. Just change /etc/redhat-release, or use ./scalix-installer --override=rhel5 (IIRC)
