Hello,

First I created the scalix-installer-file with ant.

I tried to install Scalix 11.0.4 from source but I get this message:

suse407:/tmp/11.0.4-source/scalix-installer/dist # ./scalix-installer
Scalix Installer - extracting archive, please wait...

/usr/bin/python: can't open file '/tmp/scalix-wizard.Y16450/py/sxmerlin.py': [Errno 2] No such file or directory
Scalix Installer - cleaning up..

The directory /tmp/scalix-wizard.Y16450/py doesn't exist.
Why?

Can anyone help me?
Thank you!

Hi,

ok, I have seen that suse 10.0 is not longer supportet :-(

So I tried to install on suse 10.2 (X86_64), but that doesn't work either.

I cannot select the tomcat-connector.
But I can see the rpm in /tmp/scalix-11.1.0-GA/software/scalix-server.

What can I do?

Thak you...

I have looked in the /var/log/scalix_instal.log:

/tmp/scalix-11.0.4-GA/software/scalix_server/scalix-tomcat-connector-11.0.4.25-1.suse101.i586.rpm is not for this platform

I have modified my /etc/SuSE-release in order to be able to install scalix...

SUSE LINUX 10.1 (i586) OSS
VERSION = 10.1

The original file looks like:

openSUSE 10.2 (X86-64)
VERSION = 10.2

May be I have made a mistake??

Greetings

Hi,

now I modified the /etc/SuSE-release like this:

SUSE LINUX 10.1 (X86-64) OSS
VERSION = 10.1

=> The tomcat connector is now available..

I'll try again :-D
