A non-Scalix LDAP service is already running

Hi all

I'd like to install Scalix on a server already using OpenLDAP for samba authentication. It's not particularly feasible to turn off LDAP whilst I try this install, as I'd incur the wrath of my colleagues. I'll be using the OpenLDAP for Scalix user management as several posts have indicated is possible.
What I'd like to know is how did others implement the ports that the respective LDAPs are listening on. Should I change the default port, 389, that OpenLDAP listens on or should I change the Scalix LDAP port. If the latter, which configuration file for the installation can this change be made, so I'm not stopped at this error message in the subject line?

Many thanks

Patrick

Hi,

You can either change OpenLDAP port and let Scalix LDAP use the default, or you can change Scalix LDAP port in ~/sys/slapd.conf file.
