SX-11.1.0 - can't login on /webmail & /sac

Hi !
Well, i have some probs. when trying to connect to scalix...
Following the Manual Installation HowTo for Debian i installed everything.
i didn't installed the java version shipped with scalix 1_5_0_11 but the new one from the java.com page = 1_6_0_01
Should this work or are therefore any known problems/bugs ?
So i get this error message in my webbrowser when trying to connect
Well, when i disable the proxy_ajp modul in /etc/apache2/mods-enabled i can reach the /sac site ... but the /webmail site deliveres the 404 error: The requested resource (/webmail/) is not available.
So, i am a little bit confused now.. Is it possible or necessary to use both the proxy_ajp modul and the mod_jk ? Or do i only need one and only one of them to be active ??
And where do i configure scalix or sclaix-tomcat to use a specific modul ?
Which one is recommended ?
And i was wondering if this has sth. to mean ...
is it normal that the JRE_HOME path is empty ? Or where can i set this up ?
Well, thanks for your time and hopefully someone can help me out of this !
reagards,
funki
P.S. by the side ... Are there any security holes or issues i should concern about ?
I'm just asking this because i set up the scalix environment on a DMZ-server. But i also could set it up on a "normal" Server in the trusted local area network ...
Well, just wondering if it makes any difference if scalix can talk correctly to a DNS in the local domain .. cause i used the IP of the server to connect ro Scalix and not the DNS-name which is not resolvable by my PC cause it's on a other subnet then the scalix-server ...
*Edit*
extracted from /var/log/apache2/error.log
seems like there is sth wrong with the proxy_ajp ... any ideas ?
