Scalix and MS Exchange integration

Good morning!

I have downloaded and installed Scalix 11 on a CentOS platform and it is working locally. I need to integrate Scalix into our windows environment which includes Exchange. The scenario is roughly this:

Scalix will service internal mail users (no Internet mail).
Exchange users will need to send/receive mail with Scalix users.
AD integration would be nice, but not necessary right away.

Is there a HOW-TO on this scenario? I've looked at various posts with people who want to migrate to Scalix from Exchange, but not much on this plan.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi Gregg,

you'll probably be quite interested to take a look at our Scalix Migration Guide under http://www.scalix.com/documents/Scalix_ ... 11.0.1.pdf

It's 210 pages dedicated to a successful migration from Exchange to Scalix.

Let us know if any more specific questions come up while working through that,

Chris,
I followed those Migration instructions and ran into a problem. I get the mailboxes from exchange doing an omldapsync , provision them for Scalix, then they show up on my Exchange "Scalix Users" container. But they have the same email address as the mailbox on Exchange. So if I try to add them as Alternate Recipients in Exchange I get a delivery error "Ambiguous Recipient"
Is there something missing in the documentation re: assigning an alternate email address to the forwarding mailbox?
