11.04 -> 11.1.0 Centos 5 (32-bit).

I have a small installation with only 3 active premium accounts, 2 normal accounts and 2 domains. Nevertheless the upgrade went without any problems :D

@ TigZ - thx for your answer

Has anybody experience with 11.0.4 -> 11.1.0 Centos 4?
We've got 600 premium-users 9 normal users.
We've done all the updates since 11.0.

We should know: works the connector correct? What's about Load?
We work with the german environment.

Our Problem is, that we've so much issues since 11.0

Our Users are not happy. And at such update we've got new or other problems.
The list of problems after an update gets longer. On 1 repaired problem comes 2 new problems.

I made the move from 11.0.4 to 11.1.0.46 last night. We have over 50 users on a 100 user license. I just did a upgrade install, I also did not stop the server before the upgrade. However, I did reboot after the upgrade was finished. I'll report back here if I notice any lingering problems.

All seems well, I didn't even get a single phone call this morning about the change.

Gotta Reboot...

Like Racmar, I always have to reboot after upgrade. I can stop all services through admin console, install new build. fix sendmail, restart sendmail service and everything works... except Scalix Mobile client, it won't work until the reboot (guess I don't know what service to restart for Mobile, so the reboot is my only fix).

I didn't get a single phone call with 11.1 either :)

For Scalix Mobile Access restart apache/httpd and scalix-tomcat. Should work after that.

Happy to hear the upgrade went so smoothly for you all - be curious to hear how it works for you stio.

Hi @ all, hi Chris
Upgrade to 11.1
The upgrade went without any problems.
But only one of our bugs was repaired, therefore the telephone rings further on :(
(however that was not my question :D)

We're currently having problems upgrading from 11.0.4 to 11.1.0, the installer complains about the license not having the domain servername.domainname.internal, which is the internal FQDN of our server (so not a real mail domain name at all).

This has not happened with previous upgrades, we're reverting back to the old backup now and will try again afterwards. I'll post more later then.

Well, in my case, it was LONG overdue.

I was sticking to v10 simply because it was reliable and I was lazy. There's so many fun things to do during weekends, upgrading an e-mail server not being one of them. :lol:

So, I did the upgrade from 10 to 11.1 and I expected the worse (it does look problematic when you browse the forums).

Actually, it was more of a migration. I moved the complete message store from the old server running SLES 9 to the new one running SLES 10. Then I did the install.

I did have some little issues, but none that couldn't be solved with some searching and some good ole RTFM. It took me a while to get my spam filter working, but I eventually figured it out. Same thing with the disk snapshots (that turned out to be an SLES 10 issue).

At first, SWA seemed kind of slow. Then, I reindexed everything. The next day, after all that processing was done, it was fine. I do have a server with quite a bit of horsepower (5Gb ram, dual processors, fast IO), so while I find the performance fine, I expected more.

It's been only 2 days but I have yet to hear a complain.

I have close to 100 users spread around 3 locations.

So yes, so far I'm happy with the upgrade.
