Is it possible to install multiple instances of Scalix on one server. So that the server could be effectivly used for multiple companies in a hosted mode, where users of one doman cannot see users of another.

If so how is this done? How do I install the second instance on the server.

I am new to scalix and got a test server up and running last week, I am impressed with the functionality so far but need to get the server working in the configuration before I would consider going any further with the product.

Many Thanks

David

The next major release, due in Q1 next year, will allow for installation of multiple instances. Currently, this is not a supported configuration.

Where one might want to add that the server can do multiple instances today.

You can check out the ommakeom man page. Unfortunately, the Web Applications, SAC in particular, do not play really well with multiple instances (these are the changes for the next release) and therefore it would involve a good amount of manual administration.
