Scalix 11 is not supported on CentOS 5 or RHEL 5.
Supported OSes are:
Code: Select all
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3.0 or 4.0
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9.0 or 10.0
Fedora Core 5*
SUSE Linux Open Source Software (OSS) 10.1*
You could try doing a manual install, if you want.

So they have.
I am sorry. It's not in the listed supported OSes but there is a download for it.

So what would be the exact contact to replace:
CentOS release 5 (Final)
??
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5 rhel5 i386
???

So you could replace CentOS release 5 (Final) by :
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5
in /etc/redhat-release ans after, you will be able to install scalix on Centos 5
