SUSE command line Scalix installation

Hi,

I'm trying to install scalix community edition, but without luck :(
Here's the problem:
I want to install scalix through the command line, because the gui won't start on OpenSyse 10.2 (python problem). On the forums I found the following command:

Code: Select all

./scalix-installer --cli

But when I try this, it just tries to start the gui, so it's like it's not getting the --cli parameter.
I'm running OpenSuse 10.2. Or does it also use python in command line mode?

Thanks in advance

Hi Sven!

SUSE Linux OSS 10.2 is very much different from SUSE Linux OSS 10.1, please review the
Scalix 11.0.2 Release Notes, we still have not yet approved SUSE 10.2 as a supported
environment for Scalix 11.

Thanks,
Subir

Thanks for the reply.
I'm currently back to default sendmail configuration, so mail without calendar etc. When Scalix supports 10.2 I will try agian :)

I know it's not related to this topic, but what would the most up to dated, supported, distribution ?

Hi!

Scalix supports quite a wide range of environments. For details refer to link below:
