Clamav install is *killing* me!!

Got Scalix installed and the webmail stuff all working. So now I want to add clamav and spamassassin. (CentOS4 is the OS, basically Red Hat EL 4 with a name change)

Trying to install the clamav antivirus package.

So I get the clamav-0.90 package, and do my rpm, but it comes back saying it can't install because it can't find the package clamav-db-0.90.

Fair enough. I download clamav-db-0.90 and do my rpm, and...YUP....it says it can't install it because it can't find clamav-0.90

Any way around this??

Would appreciate any help!

Thanks

Hmm, does:

rpm -ivh clamav*

work?

Honestly, ClamAV just killed me on friday. Corrupted messages for a half hour til the ommaint frequent caught it. Still need to check it out before turning it back on. Was working fine for months straight, then just died.

Yup that works.

What do you mean corrupted messages? Are you saying clamav was somehow corrupting your email messages? How does it do that?? I figured it just scanned and couldn't overwrite.

Yeah, definitely don't mean to put you off of it. I'm still investigating, but disabling clamav fixed the problem. It ran fine for 8 months previous. Other than that, had no other problems at all.
