Installation through GUI - is it different from text based?

Hi.

I have never done an install through the GUI method (we don't usually install the GUI applications). However, since our Scalix box will be managed by someone with less Linux skills, I am wondering whether if we do the install via the GUI, do any other applications for GUI admin get installed into the GUI? If not, then there is no point in using the GUI at all, and we will just use CLI plus the remote SAC option.

Thanks.
Andrew.

There aren't any additional items that are installed for gui. So, no. Graphical install is just a different method of doing the same thing as the cli, afaik.

Both methods for this version seemed essentially the same, except strangely it is not possible to copy and paste error messages when in the graphical mode (KDE).
