Hi,

Can someone show the proper way a hosts file should look like for a Scalix installation? Easy question but for some reason I cant get it straight.

At the moment my hosts file looks like:

Code: Select all

127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.1.15 scx.mydomain.com

Interesting when I had "127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain" Scalix wouldnt want to install.

System is Fedora Core 5 with Scalix 11.1

Also I had to add a host in my IPCOP config for scx.mydomain.com at its ip. That cleared up two or so problems with the install.

Hi!

/etc/hosts file for me looks like:

# Do not remove the following line, or various programs
# that require network functionality will fail.
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
192.168.103.112 subir-rhel4.scalix.co.in subir-rhel4

Thanks,
Subir
