apache2 vhost.d virtual host docroot not found

Hello everybody,
I have a strange problem. I defined several virtual hosts lieke www.site1.de, www.site2.de etc. on my system (SuSE 10.1). What happens is that the docroot points to /srv/www/htdocs. The docroot in the vhost.d description is correct. They are copied from an other SUSE server.
I found a hint for this in the forum but it did not work. Any idea?
