Problem enabling SSL on a new installation of 11.0

Hi All,
forgive me in advance if I've missed something simple :-)
I'm doing a test build of 11.0 to test migrating a development server onto the new OS and application platform.
The install went great - beautiful stuff. However, I've read through the forums trying to get SSL right (took some time to develop an understanding of the difference between tomcat and apache ssl), but I'm still confused as to how to accomplish this. Some posts seem to indicate that the installer might handle more of it than it did under version 10.
Anyone have a link to a definitive guide?
