I have the same problem.
I'm on Centos5 and my df-h looks like as follows:

[root@scalix installer]# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda2 19G 1.9G 16G 11% /
/dev/sda1 99M 18M 77M 19% /boot
tmpfs 1.5G 0 1.5G 0% /dev/shm
10.0.0.1:/home/scalix.data
375G 202G 154G 57% /var/opt/scalix
Where is installer trying to install the system?

Dante

The installer throws this error if you use NFS

But there says "Also note that Scalix does not support putting a Scalix Message Store on a NFS" and I can't find any mention to NFS4...

Dantix,
you have reanimated a post from 2006. At this time, some Linux Distros were still using NFS Version 3 (NFSv3). This was supported and known to work even on big installations with a couple of thousands of mailboxes.
NFS Version 4 (NFSv4) which is used now has been tested a couple of years ago by Scalix engineers and one of the really big Storage Vendors and has been considered to be unsuitable for this usecase.
