font not visible

hi,

just trying to install scalix community edition. I see these messages on console:

[root@home-linux scalix-9.4.0-community-intel-rh]# ./scalix-installer-community
Scalix Installer - extracting archive, please wait...
gzip: stdin: unexpected end of file
tar: Child returned status 1
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors
Scalix Installer - starting version 9.4.0.53...
...

Next, the window comes up but I'm not able to see any text on it. Looks like the font is very small, and the window cannot be enlarged... ??

I can run other X-window applications without any problem. What could be going wrong ..? I've jre 1.4.2_05.

Hi,

that sounds like a corrupted download - please download the file again and compare to the one you already have.

i re-downloaded the correct binary. verified checksums. but still had the same issue.

my su Xsettings were incorrect. So, you can either do xset to correct the fonts, etc..
I just ran the binary via kdesu as a hack, and it works now.
