Where is the Scalix message store? If it is not in the place where I want it can it be moved? Which help file should I look in for more information on this topic?

you should consider the whole Scalix data directory (i.e. /var/opt/scalix) the message store. While there are other files (directory, config, etc., logs) in this tree, they should always be kept together with the actual message data which is dontained in the user* and data* subdirectories of this.

Is there a limit to the mailbox size? I know that you can set a limit, but if no limit is set then what is the limit?

no. the only limit is disk space.

practical reasons - performance and backup/restore time might impose practical limits though.

My mailbox is currently a couple of gigs and we've seen larger ones.
