open smtp-relay for internal network for alert-emails

Hello there,

so i got my scalix working now (the message store was horrible broken, but an export/import using pst-files worked).

My Question is:

in /var/opt/scalix/sys/smtpd.cfg i found the following directives:

RELAY accept 127.0.0.1
RELAY accept .my.domain
RELAY Log_Reject ALL

I have some services (Raid-cards, UPS/USV) wich can sent alert mails, but the manufactur did not implented SMTP-AUTH yet.
Can I add my internal network in CIDR or allow some IP-Adresses in this configfile to allow relaying for this services? Do I need to recompile/restart anything? (Ok restart is rhetorical).
I also have external webserves with Public IPs but not in my DMZ, can I add the Public IP there?.

How to you send your status/alert Mails through Scalix?

The format for acceptable address ranges is documented in the comments just above those RELAY accept lines.

You will need to restart the SMTP Relay for any changes to be picked up.
