Hello
I love your product -- but there is one thing stopping me from implementing the Scalix groupware suite onto a production system -- antivirus and antispam integration.
I found the instructions in the wiki and on this forum very helpful, however they were too complicated and I feel would be better placed in a pdf along with the Scalix Setup Guide.
Please be patient with me and i will try to explain mysef as i go on. I am sure others have sailed through this process but for me its a real hangup.
Comgratulations though on a brilliant product -- i don't know how i didn't find it for so long.

Did you search the knowledgebase ?
If you use the terms "spamassassin" and "clamav", you'll find simple How-Tos for both those products.
Cheers

Yes I did search and follow the instructions in both the Wiki and the forum. If you could be more specific as to the location of the
simple How-Tos
I would very much appreciate your help.

This is detailed in the sticky post at the top of each form titled "Troubleshooting Scalix issues". Go to
http://www.scalix.com/support/knowledgebase.html and enter the search criteria.

i agree, that this information is very usefull on installing and integrating the spamfilter.
it works just fine, spamassassin is tagging the mails, but i miss information how to tell the mta or service router what to do with the tagged mails. i personally would like to sent them to a special mailbox.
the Link in the knolledge base to the service router pdf is broken.

service router is now documented in full in the Admin guide, but we should probably update this anyway.
You can create server- based rules using both OUtlook and the web-based scalix rules wizard accessible from within SWA to create a rule that moves messages to trash based on headers. The headers would be the x-spam headers created by Spam Assassin.
Cheers,
Florian.
