Network checks failed

Hi,
Anyone knows whats causing these error when im doing installations but cant seem to get the network checks successful.
1. host file not configure with fully qualified domain name fqdn
2. invalid fqdn 'hostname'

You need to make sure that the host name and ip are part of your dns solution. This is done by adding you hostname to the forward and reverse zones or by adding a line to the /etc/hosts. Your /etc/hosts file should look similar to this:

# Do not remove the following line, or various programs
# that require network functionality will fail.
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
10.17.96.64 hostname.domain.com hostname
