White Box Linux 4.

(Yeah, as if $370/night for a cheap room shouldn't include the cotton-pickin' $20/day for the internet access. Say what?!) A traceroute is coming back with absolutely NO IP ADDRESSES except my own. So, no, I can't tell you what IP I'm on right now. I don't even understand how I'm getting ANYTHING AT ALL from the internet at this point. This is so screwed up.
It's not you; it's me. I've bashed my head on Solaris for the past couple of hours, trying to configure the installation of Java Enterprise System I put on it. I've been working with open systems for 12 years now, and I can't even figure out how to configure one NIC for DHCP and one NIC for a static IP on Solaris x86, let alone even LOG INTO THE DIRECTORY SERVER and configure an account. And this is after my 3rd try at installing. I think I have about 30 hours in on this, and I haven't got a single email sent. Great, Sun, glad you made this steaming heap of crap free. It's certainly been worth every red cent I'VE paid for it.
So, yeah, I'm going to install White Box Linux 4.1 and give Scalix a try, provided I get it downloaded. I'm at 47% on this 3rd try today.
