Hi,
Is it possible to synchronize with a windows 2000 active directory that does not have exchange server installed?

All the guides concerning active directory synchronization that i have seen so far, all refer to ADs modified by exchange server.

I don't want to purchase exchange server to begin with and I need to know if exchange server is a must for scalix to work with AD. If not, how do i go about succesfully running omldapsync? Thanks :)

Yes it is possible. This capability is not "out of the box".

AD sync w/o Exchange is an involved process, something our support/implementation team can assist you with. Please send your request to support@scalix.com. Be sure to mention you were reffered from the Scalix forum.
