Hello, first time poster.

Have installed our first linux mail server, the scalix 10.0.1, and the installation went ok. Has been installed onto Suse OSS 10.0.0.1 (newest one), and has apache 2 running.

We cannot seem to access any of the admin pages through the browser. We have tried http://localhost/ and also its IP, with variants of localhost/webmail and others.

What addresses should we be using?! Or has the installation gone pear shaped?

Please help us!! Could save us having to spend £0000's on Exchange :(

Can't see http:\\localhost page (access denied)

Not sure if it's the same issue, but I too installed on OES 10 (Suse 9) this week, and could not access localhost. What I have found (so far) is that the Apache server is not actually running. It seems to be looking for a security certificate, in a directory not created by default, and at various points in the script to start the server it calls the security certification file by a different name. Even when I created the directory and generated a security certificate (saved under two different names), all I received was an Error 7 on the Apache (worker) stage of startup.

This is with a clean install of OES, before I load Scalix, so it's not a Scalix issue to my mind...
