Does anyone know if there are issues with Suse 9.x x86_64 and Scalix? Does Scalix support 64 bit?

Any help would be appreicated.

Release 10 runs in a 64 bit environment as a 32 bit app and as such needs 32 bit libraries. The requirements are documented in the install guide and I believe you will find posts on the forum about issues and resolutions others have encountered.
