Problems logging into SAC on 9.2

I have installed Scalix 9.2 on a FC3 box to evaluate and have been unable to get into the admin console, the webmail works fine, looking at the CAA.log it seems that the credentials are incorrect.

I had a look through the forum and tried a couple of other things, such as checking the user details.

It seems OK, also the following returns a list from the ldap server

./omldapsearch -h dangermouse.unity-systems.com -D "omUlAuthid=sxadmin@dangermouse.unity-systems.com" -w password cn=*

Therefore I believe the password is correct, I wasn't sure how to enable the log4j to debug for the CAA log?

Any help would be good?

You need to edit the following properties in /etc/opt/scalix/caa/config/lo4j.properties and stop/restart tomcat to be able to get more logging:

log4j.rootLogger=DEBUG
log4j.logger.com.scalix.caa.util.CAALogger=DEBUG, file

After looking at it the constructed ldap query that I used to check the password looks OK:

Unable to login to SAC

I'm still not able to login to the admin console, it there anything else I can do to identity the problem, I really need to get moving on the evaluation?

I still haven't been able to get into SAC, the problem is the same and I'm not sure what the next steps in working out the issues is? Can anyone help?

OK, this looks like the installation failed for some reason. The sxqueryadmin user is a user on each server that SAC needs to talk to. If it's not there, SAC can't function correctly.

I would run through the installer again and remove and re-install SAC. This should add the correct entries to the SYSTEM directory.

I un-installed the whole thing and reinstalled, it all seems fine but still no user?

Can you uninstall SAC and RES but before re-installing, check that you have no files in /etc/opt/scalix/caa and also remove the /etc/opt/scalix/caa directory.

It looks like your re-install thought that SAC and RES didn't need any configuration changes.

I uninstalled, the deleted the directory and re-instaled... still can't login
