Install problems

Postby lukaszb » Mon Mar 20, 2006 9:45 pm

Ok, so I installed scalix on FedoraCore4. The problem is that I cannot access administrative console (SAC).

The following error is returned:

Service Temporarily Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Apache/2.0.54 (Fedora) Server at email2.********.com Port 80

I looked around and I cannot figure out where to even start. I checked my /etc/hosts file and it looks ok. But than again I think it's the tomcat thingy that keeps crashing. Anyone can help?

Is this error being generated at SAC login or is it a 404 or 503 error from Apache.

If it's from Apache, please check your Apache logs for any errors. Also make sure that selinux is disabled and you've rebooted your server once you disable it.

Cheers

Thanks Dave. That was helpful. Indeed the SELinux was causing most of the problems. I turned it off and Scalix works without problems.
