What format is the current data in? If they were using Outlook it should be a PST already. And 11.4.6 CE supports tasks fine on my machine (Outlook 2003, Windows 7). If I click on the Tasks folder they are all present.

install the scalix connector on the client.
create and configure a new outlook profile with scalix as connection type.
start outlook with the scalix profile
import the pst.
