How to change Home Mail Node in Active Directory

Postby mclark2112 » Wed Dec 09, 2009 3:38 pm

OK, so far everything with my new install is going great. I've had to rack my brain a few times, but that's OK.

Our network is Windows 2003, with a local domain of prudential.com
Our email domain is prudentialsavings.com

I have the small business edition, with 20 premium licenses. I just finished the AD configuration, and it worked great. I am now about to start creating the individual email accounts.

What I see is that the Home Mail Node is prudential.com, which makes sense since the Scalix connection is unidirectional, and my Windows servers only know about the internal domain.

What I am not to sure of, is how to get our email domain to show up in the dropdown when giving a user a new mailbox. Do I need to add a DNS entry? or change something in the Scalix files.

Thanks,

Matt
