hello,
i cannot upgrade from 11.2 comm.edit. to 11.4.5 (now licensed) 20-User version.
I have a centos 5 installation without X-Server running with 20 premium users.2
when i start the cli installation the inst.programm ask me to choose the components to install. there is a list from 5-14 as default. but when i enter "return" or one or more comma-separated numbers the question comes again - a never ending loop.
what`s wrong ?
thanks

Does "sxlicense" show an LVID of 31 July 2009 or after?

Check your most recent /var/log/scalix-installer-<date>.log file for clues.

It might help to run "scalix-installer --debug" so you'll get more info in the log.

There are quite a few things that have changed from 11.2 to 11.4.5 - check out the Release Notes, especially the section entitled "Upgrade Notices".

Some of the things you might want to do are ensure nothing is using port 8080 (Tomcat will use that) and if you run omldapsync you'll need to update your sync.cfg file. The port 8080 thing might stop the installation but not at the beginning like you are seeing. The sync.cfg for omldapsync won't affect the upgrade at all but if you run omlsapsync it will quit working until you modify your sync.cfg file.
