after upgrade normal user acounts locked out

Postby steel » Sun Sep 13, 2009 2:24 am

Hi all,
I'm pretty new at the scalix administration, so hopefully I don't look too much like an idiot.
I upgraded from 11.2x to 11.4.2 (the latest community version)
I was moving this all to a new server, running Centos5 from Centos4.
I built the new server (same domain, IP all seems ok) added the original SCALIX as the old server 11.2x and it was running fine.
I exported the accounts from the old server to the (username).mbox and then imported them to the SCALIX, so far so good.

Now after that I thought to upgrade SCALIX version now to 11.4.2 as the new hardware was working fine. Now after the upgrade the only account I can use is SAC, any normal user is not allowed in with an error message about incorrect username and/or password.
Even if I make a new account with the sxadmin it will not work either.

Note I am only trying with the web interface and not using a client like outlook (this is for when I have the web mail working)

Any ideas!

Thanks

Steve

The latest community edition is 11.4.5. Have you tried omlogon yet? Perhaps it's to do with the way you did the transfer.

You could also just move the mailstore over intact. A few more steps, but then you retain all your configuration changes.
