Unable to login SAC

Hi..

I installed scalix 11.4.5 on opensuse 11.0

Installation done successfully. webmail is working fine but unable to log in to SAC.

if i entered Login
ID : sxadmin-mdc-mail@icadmail.com
PW : xxxxx

it gives the error below

Could not login
could not fetch server list
possible problem with administration server

Please help me :

Can you login with just a username of 'sxadmin'?

I know there are several solutions to try that are posted in the forums. I don't have time to find a couple at the moment. But a quick search for "could not fetch server list" should yield some results.

Unless someone reports something more specific, the quick and dirty fix is to

1. Back up the mailstore.

2. Uninstall Scalix.

3. Reinstall Scalix and restore the mailstore.

Hate to tell you this, but that's the only guaranteed method that I've found.

(I know this because I'm getting ready to do it to our mail server myself!)

Check to see if /etc/opt/scalix/instance.cfg exists. If not, create it and restart the scalix service. Here is what it should look like with a mailnode name of scalix1 and a hostname of scalix1.example.com. Change /var/opt/scalix/s1 to the first and last letter of what ever your mailnode name is.

Can you post your /etc/hosts file please?
