DocumentRoot // No access to webmail or sac

Postby FreddyKrueger » Thu Jul 02, 2009 6:33 am

Hi all,

i just installed Scalix 11.4.4. Apache is running and test site is availible. But i can't get access to fqdn/sac/ or fqdn/webmail/. says 404 not found.

Seems to me like a wrong DocumentRoot. I can't find any entry for scalix in the apache configs.

Can someone tell me the right DocumentRoot for the Scalix server ? Or is there perhabs another problem?

Freddy

You need to check that the tomcat/apache connector is installed. It places the config files in /etc/opt/scalix-tomcat/connector

Hey

thx for your answer. but seems like the connector is installed. config files are in /etc/opt/scalix-tomcat/connector/ajp and /etc/opt/scalix-tomcat/connector/

But i had a look at the log files. here is the output catalina.date.log

which java version is running on your server?

i´m not sure, but this could the problem
"INFO: validateJarFile(/var/opt/scalix/sx/tomcat/webapps/caa/WEB-INF/lib/j2ee.jar) - jar not loaded. See Servlet Spec 2.3, section 9.7.2. Offending class: javax/servlet/Servlet.class"

and maybe this
INFO: The Apache Tomcat Native library which allows optimal performance in production environments was not found on the java.library.path: /usr/java/jre1.5.0_16/lib/i386/server:/usr/java/jre1.5.0_16/lib/i386:/usr/java/jre1.5.0_16/../lib/i386

is the JAVA PATH Variable correct?
or
have you try to reinstall this scalix component?
