[Solved] Configuring PostgreSQL...Fatal error occured

Hello,
sorry for my bad english in advance.

I use a virtual server with CentOS5.2 (had FC9, Debian4/5, Open SuSe 10.3/11.1).
No matter what i installed i get always the same error:

Fatal error occured: Msg: An error occurred configuring Web applications -- check the log for errors.
Scalix Installer - cleaning up...
Scalix Installer - done.

2009-04-13 05:14:15,356 ERROR Operation failed: Failed to reconfigure the PostgreSQL database.

postgre Reconfigured / reinstalled /kicked it to hell but : nothing helps.
I try now 4 days and almost sure that i do anything somewhere wrong.

Try to install with --debug --warnonly reinstalled reconfigured redontknowwhat .

Can anyone help me please ?




Ok i managed it ...
First edited the hosts file and in etc/networking something and after installed scalix.
Dont know much about CentOS
Now it runs on Ubuntu 8.04

Another hint - if the package 'vixie-cron.i386' on CentOS is missing, the crontab can't be updated so the install fails.

A 'yum install vixie-cron.i386' solves this issue.

Maybe the package should be included in the dependency check in futre releases.
