I have an Small Business Exchange installation I want switch off. I think Scalix could solves my problems of configuration and maintenance for a fair price.
I'd like to test Scalix Community in parallel with Exchange; and I want to clone 3-4 real users.
In order to do that can I define for the Scalix server the same domain of my old SBS server?
I have to define a different domain? for example "my_domain_test".
The two server will be in the same network.

Scalix doesn't casre about the AD domains, just the email domains.

I suggest you read the migration giude, it will give you an indication of the steps neccesary to permit coexistence.
