Outgoing Email

Hello:

I just installed Scalix on a new server and I'm having a problem with outgoing email. Incoming email works fine and local delivery, however no email is leaving the server.

When I logged in SAC, there are no errors however all the messages show up Internet Mail Queue.

I'm lost on where to look next.

Check that sendmail is running and accepting email from Scalix.

Hello<

I have checked to ensure sendmail is running. How would you check to see if sendmail is accepting emails from scalix?

Look in the sendmail logs to see if there's any errors when accepting from Scalix. Also check the Scalix logs.
