Hello

A newbie to Scalix and thought I'd start with a test system in VM Server2 under Ubuntu.

The system therefore a FC9 using scalix-11.4.3-GA-community-f9-intel. After a bit of a struggle all is good and ok,

However I notice the license summary shows:
Total Premium Users:0 Used Premium Users: 0
Total Standard Users: 0 Used Standard Users:2
No License Keys Found.

I have had a look around the forums and the Scalix site, but seem unable to find where the community licenses are issued from to enable the documented "It includes Scalix Collaboration Platform – which serves as the foundation for all our product editions – and 10 Premium User mailboxes"

Forgive me if I have overlooked something, but I simply have not managed to find the information. So if anyone would be kind enough to point me in the direction I can carry forward the evaluation and setup of the system.

FC9 is supported isn't it? That is why I went for that easy to use and should have enough support if I run into problems with that.

I have run sxlicense:

System Class: Single-Server
Premium Users: 10
Standard Users: unlimited

Which is certainly more information than the web interface at /sac shows. Maybe some extra information could be shown?

So at least that puts my mind at rest.

I think what you're seeing here is really a bit of a minor flaw in SAC. We've updated the license status screen in 11.4.3 to show more information - it seems we've missed the community edition situation to be displayed in a reasonable way. Technically, the statement is correct - you don't have a license key as you are using the built-in Community Edition license, but it's confusing, I agree. Thanks for your very proper attention to the question whether you're licensed or not, which is important even when using a no-cost product.

I've raised an Improvement-type bug and we'll see to make this look more professional in a future release. https://bugzilla.scalix.com/show_bug.cgi?id=19105

You're good to go; for a production server even on CE, I'd always recommend CentOS over Fedora, given it doesn't change all that often, which is good for a mail server, but that's a minor thingie if F9 works for you. And you're certainly fine on the licensing side
