still no success..i changed the entries in /etc/hosts but still can't install scalix cause of the network error

i don't know what i'm doing wrong

Maybe you're affected by what I discovered in a slightly different situation...
If you have a GUI Network Manager installed (in my case, YAST) when you edit the Host file directly and all appears normal, the Network Manager app may be configured to write an alternate record which can screw things up (See my thread "Install Failure Scalix 11.4.2.2538 on SuSE 11"

This alternate record isn't visible using any "normal" means but a possible indication I haven't yet verified is that when you open a BASH window the displayed hostname may be mixed case or otherwise incorrect.
