Newest version of Apache unrecognized

Good morning,
I am attempting to update apache to the latest version, 2.2.10, on a Fedora 9 system. I can get it installed and running (I can get to the apache default page after the install) but can no longer get to webmail. I have attempted to uninstall and then reinstall Scalix but it seems that Scalix doesn't recognize the new version of Apache as a valid instance of httpd.
If anyone has run into a similar issue or has succesfully gotten scalix running with the latest version of apache on Fedora 9, any tips would be greatly appreciated.
