Web apps config function configure_res failed

Hi, i wanted to instal scalix on a new Server. But the installation/configuration of "Scalix Management Agent" (version 11.4.1.4518-1) fails.

CRITICAL Operation failed: Web apps config function configure_res failed: Failed to add "query admin" user sxqueryadmin@elfriede.de-mail.net. /opt/scalix/bin/omaddu reported the following error: omaddu : [OM 8114] Could not get a license to configure this user.
.Please check that the domain de-mail.net is licensed.

Can anyone help me?

Your license is not valid for that user. Send an email to support, and request an updated license that also includes the domain de-mail.net.

Alternately, I suppose your license may just be expired, but as I remember it, that's a different error.

Once you have the new license, rerun the installer, and just reconfigure everything.

thanks for reply - but why do i need a licence for the community edition?

You shouldn't.

The error you mentioned is a licensing error, and forgetting a domain is a reasonably common issue, so I just assumed that was the problem. Sorry.

Can you post the output from the following commands?

sxlicense -u
sxlicense

This IS a licensing error, I'm just confused to know why you're seeing it.

thanks for your help - it was an issue with the ovh kernel - i installed CentOS with the original kernel and it worked fine.

Hi. I also am having this problem but but with Scalix 11.4.2-GA and am using the kernel's provided by CentOS 5.2. Any idea what is causing it?
