remote installation through ssh

Hello I had the scalix installed when I was in Italy. Now the server died and I need to reinstall the scalix I will have shell access is there a step or a way to configure it from a remote location using ssh? Thanks.

of course you can install scalix via shell or want you to install the os via shell?

if you need the gui, setup vnc

You can run scalix-installer in the scalix-* directory you untarred the software into.

The Command Line installer is functionally identical to the GUI. If you've seen the GUI, you'll be right at home with the CLI.

The only difference is that you'll need to start it manually. Just use bash <scalix-version>.bin and then I think you'll need to cd into the directory after that unzips itself, and from there you can run scalix-installer, as Schmoe suggests.
