serious problem with mime.browse

After an update from Scalix 11.0.4 to 11.4 I get the following error message in /var/opt/scalix/aa/s/logs/daemon.stderr

Usage: mime.browse [-p path] [-l language] [-o outputfile]
[-m|-M|-D] [-h|-b|-s] location

This repeated more 250,000 times after running for 4 hours!

Nobody else got this errors?

would like to add some more details:
1. most important for me the errors disappeared after ~9 hours
2. the server load has reached normal level and there are no more mime.rowse zombies

I we will do a server reboot within the next weekend to see whether I can reproduce this error.

Some more questions:
1. there are other log files than in /var/opt/scalix/xx/s/logs to check for errors?
2. is the any way to read the binary log files?

Try the files in /var/opt/scalix/??/tomcat/logs as well. omshowlog is the tool to read the Scalix event log (the binary files).

Did you resolve this issue? I am having the exact same issue.

For each OM.MIME 4000 there is a corresponding mime.browse error.

Now, in all this troubleshooting, a Public Folder has appeared named "Deleted Items" and it's getting items from other's deleted emails!

Whatever is calling that mime.browse process is doing so with flags it has no clue about. As evidenced by the daemon.stderr log.

This is clearly a bug somewhere, but I have no idea what the source is.

Did mime.browse change when we upgraded to 11.4?

Should have, you can check the version with:

omvers -f /opt/scalix/bin/mime.browse


Do you have any old, old imap zombie sessions?

This was after a fresh reboot. omvers shows 11.4.1.11929 on mime.browse
