HI!

My network-interface has a fixed ip-address. But the scalix-wizard say that the network-interface has a dynamic ip-address. A DHCP-Server is also not running.

What is the problem?

Thanks!!!!!

This is only a warning message so it can be ignored.

The wizard is looking for files with a certain pattern. For example, ifcfg-eth*.

If they can't be found, it is assumed that the server is DHCP-enabled.

However on some versions of SuSE, the format of the name is different which means that the wizard doesn't recognise it.

This is something that will be resolved in the next Scalix release when we move over to a different installer.

Cheers
